MA. CARMEN A. LAGMAN, Ph.D.

Dr. Ma. Carmen A. Lagman is a Professor of Biology at De La Salle University Manila, where she leads the Practical Genomics Laboratory. Her distinguished career includes being a Fullbright Visiting Scholar at Oregon State University, USA, and a Newton Innovation Fellow at the Royal Academy of Engineering in the UK. Recognized as one of the 2020 Filipino Faces of Biotechnology, she holds a Ph.D. in Marine Science from the University of the Philippines Diliman. In the NEC, she will serve as the focal person for scientific and professional-related affairs.
