Dr. Ma. Carmen A. Lagman, Ph.D.

Dr. Ma. Carmen A. Lagman is a marine scientist, biologist, and professor whose work has advanced the understanding of marine biodiversity, population genetics, molecular ecology, fisheries, and aquaculture. She is a Full Professor at De La Salle University and holds a PhD in Marine Science from the University of the Philippines Diliman.

Her research profile includes work in population genomics, molecular systematics, the South China Sea, fisheries, and aquaculture, with a substantial body of scientific publications. She is also recognized for expertise in population genetics, molecular ecology, systematics, and bioinformatics.
