The Benita & Catalino Yap Foundation is a Philippine foundation committed to social development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and inclusive growth. Public information on the Foundation highlights its work in corporate social responsibility, social enterprise, innovation programs, and partnerships with educational and community institutions. In 2026, Central Luzon State University announced a memorandum of understanding with the Foundation to establish the BCYF-CLSU Agribusiness Innovation, Research and Development Hub, reflecting BCYF’s support for research, innovation, enterprise development, and agriculture-based transformation. The Foundation’s initiatives show a strong concern for practical, people-centered innovation—supporting ideas and partnerships that can improve livelihoods, strengthen communities, and create opportunities for young people and social entrepreneurs. Its development orientation makes it a natural partner for programs that recognize talent, encourage creativity, and promote solutions to real national problems.

As a partner of the Sci&Tech Philippines Awards 2026, the Benita & Catalino Yap Foundation helps connect science and technology recognition with entrepreneurship, community development, and social impact. Its participation reinforces the message that scientific excellence must lead not only to awards and achievements, but also to innovation, livelihood creation, and inclusive progress for Filipino communities.
